Dear participants, parents and coaches,

We are pleased to announce that the Junior Dutch Open tournament will become the Dutch delegation within the YET INTERNATIONAL tour starting in September.

The DB and its organizers give them a warm welcome and hope for a long and pleasant cooperation.

Arny Goossens, President

DB YET INTERNATIONAL

Dear participants of the YET tour,

As a result of the message they published on the website of Foundation YET Nederland and which was also sent to YET participants personally, the DB YET INTERNATIONAL has, after long deliberation, come to the conclusion that the organisation of Foundation YET Nederland is once again acting against all the standards and values that we as YET INTERNATIONAL stand for. This has resulted in a deadlock and we as DB YET INTERNATIONAL have had to take the decision that the Valcke Open International YET Tournament Netherlands, organized by Foundation YET Nederland will no longer be part of the YET International Tour (Youth Euro Trophy) with immediate effect.

YET FINALS 2019-2020

Dear YET Tour participant.

At the moment we still have prizes available from a number of finalists.

It was our intention to send them to you, but due to the covid-19 restrictions and not having been able to play in the 2020-2021 and current 2021-2022 seasons, hardly any money has been added to the YET account.

New Structure

Together we are looking forward to a new YET INTERNATIONAL bowling season. We are happy that finally, after 1 1/2 seasons without tournaments, we can slowly start prepare ourselves for a full season, with hopefully 8 tournaments.

The 10th Anniversary of YET

The idea of YET, to create a tour analogue to the EBT but for youth players, came up for the first time during the EYC 2005 in Wommelgem, Belgium. It was an idea of Gerard van Dam and Arny Goossens.
When Gerard van Dam died two years later to early the idea was put into the freezer until Arny found with Louis van der Heijden the perfect person to replace late Gerard. Louis and Arny worked during the next 2 years to find a playable format for the tour. In the beginning the idea was not supported by ETBF, today it is fully supported.

tournaments and condition

Due to a strike on Zavetem-Brussels Airport in Belgium during the tournament players from Ireland unfortunately could not make the crossing to the Mainland.
